Services vary from intermediate unit to intermediate unit, please check with your local intermediate unit for information regarding services.

Assessment | Accountability Systems
Intermediate units will assist school districts in assessing and establishing assessment and accountability systems. Student work is analyzed in a team or cluster meeting to establish a school district's strengths and needs. If the student work is used for baseline sampling, the process will be repeated at intervals to make comparisons and determine changes in performance, impact of teaching, and implications for teaching and learning.

Consortium Projects
Intermediate units will coordinate specialized consortium services to create, implement, or evaluate curricula and assessments for member school districts. Curriculum Advisory Councils meet regularly to review current trends, share information, and implement special projects. Consortium members meet regularly to discuss mutual curriculum, instruction, and staff development concerns. It assists in implementation of new programs and identifies needed resources and services.
