After you have registered for the Day on the Hill, use the links below to find the legislators who serve your IU's service region. The spreadsheets have contact information for legislators' Capitol offices.
Begin contacting the legislators (and their scheduler). Make them aware that you or representatives from your IU will be in Harrisburg on April 25 and would like to meet with the legislator or their staff. If they can't do this day, please schedule a day that is mutually agreeable.
If the assistant asks how long you need, 20 minutes is usually a good request. If the assistant says that the legislator is unavailable that day, request to meet with the staff person responsible for education issues. Finally, if no one is available, see if you can do another day or see if you can email or drop off materials.
